Hands-On Program and Lecture - Length 8 Hours
This program will present a systematic approach to the best possible restorative reconstruction of esthetics, function and speech for the edentulous patient.The goal is to construct high quality dentures and partial dentures. The system will provide for increased stability, fewer pressure point irritants and reduced chair time adjustment. Demands and responsibilities of both the clinician and the laboratory will be presented.Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to meet the following objectives:
• Develop a skill set to create accurate, fully detailed edentulous impressions
• Perform a Face Bow Registration
• Utilize VLC base plate for final fit, bite registration and esthetic try-in procedures
• Employ a central occlusal bearing device to acquire and confirm centric relation
• Work with TruRx and patient to determine correct mould and tooth shade
• Produce orientation and implant stints with Eclipse Resin
• Diagnose and treat common problems associated with restorations for partial and full denture patients
• Follow a systematic approach and protocols to prescribe EPIC restorations
